CHINESE IN AUSTRALIA.
CHARGES BY POLITICIAN. HIGH OFFICIALS IMPLICATED. (Received August 13, 0.5 p.to.) PORT DARWIN, Aug 13. Mr. 11. G. Nelson, member of tho Federal House of Representatives for the Northern Territory, makes startling allegations about the importation of Chinese into Australia. He asserts that high officials are implicated and that the Customs Department has obtained sworn declarations concerning the charges and has forwarded them to headquarters.
