AUCTION SALE FOR £28,000
Two of the three blocks of the Bagnall Buildings, Anzac Avenue, were bought yesterday for '£28,000 by Sar. H. R. Jenkins, of the Gane Milking Machine Company. The second floor of the building will shortly be occupied by the company, the tenancies of the remainder of the building remaining as af. present. The auction was conducted by the firm of T. Mandeno Jackson, on behalf of the second mortgagee, bidding being brisk. The premises consist of five storeys, the frontage to Anzac Avenue being 80ft., and the depth 100 ft. The portion included in the sale is known as blocks 6 and 7, and it occupies sections 10 and 11 of the Anzac Avenue subdivision. The building was completed last year.
