PAEROA RACE MEETING.

FIRST DAY'S ACCEPTANCES, The Ohinemuri Jockey Club holds its annual race meeting on Saturday and Monday. March 17 and 19. and the list cf acceptances lodged for the events set down for decision on the opening day, and the collective entries in hand for events for the second day's programme, augur well for the forthcoming gathering proving one of the most successful held at Paeroa. The following is a list of the entries received for the first day's events:—

FORTHCOMING MEETINGS. AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. The Auckland Racine Club's Autumn Meeting is fixed to be held on Saturday and Monday, April 7 and 9. A3 originally drawn up. the programme only comprised 14 events, but on a reconsideration two races were added, which brings matters up to the old standard of eight races per day, with the result.'that the amount of prize-money is increased to £11.600. Nominations for all handicap events close with the secretary. Mr. W. S. Spence. next. The Bay of Plenty Jockey Club will hold its annual race meeting at Tauranga. on Saturday, March 21. Nominations for all events close next Thursday, March 15, nt 5 p.m., either with the secretary, Mr. S. G. Willcock, Tauranga, or with Messrs. Blomfield and Co., High Street Auckland. The same may also be lodged with the secretary, earn of secretary, Obinemuri Jockey Club, Paeroa. up to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 17.
