COLLECTIONS IN DOMINION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. 3 WELLINGTON, Thursday. The customs duties collected in the Dominion for the quarter ended December 31 were £1,808,822, as against £2,168,782 in the same period of 1926* For the year 1927 they were £8,110,497 and for 1926 £8,398,537. The excise for the quarter was £211,202, as compared with £202,040 in the samo quarter of 1926. For the year 1927 the figure was £752,315, as against £728,204 for 1926.
