REFUSED ADMISSION.
PASSENGER TO SYDNEY. GERMAN ON ULIMAROA. (Received January 31, 10.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Jan, 31. The Customs Department has refused lo allow a German, who is a passenger on board the Ulimaroa, to laud in Australia. It is alleged that he was deported from New Zealand, where he had received a term of seven years' imprisonment for arson. It is not yet decided whether he will be shipped back to New Zealand or taken on to Germany.
