VICTIMS OF POISONING.
FOURTH DEATH RESULTS. TRAGEDY ON A FARM. (Received January 31, 5.5 p.m.) A. ana N.Z. BRISBANE. Jan. 31. Florence Windley, aged 11 years, another of the Torrens Creek poisoning victims, has died. This brings the deathroll to four. A message published yesterday said a poisoning tragedy on a farm, involving the deaths of three persons, was reported from Torrens Creek, 50 miles from HugUendon. It was believed that the poisoning was caused through the contents of a tin of sheep-dip, which was left on top of a tank, getting into the drinking water. Seven other persons were taken to hospital in a serious condition. A postmortem examination was held, but it was not definitely known whether the trouble resulted from something that was eaten or whether it came from some metallic source.
