Thers were some surprises in the second day's play of tho Whangarei Bowling Club's rinks tournament. Parker Hill (Papatoetoe) and Judd (Whamgarei) who were undefeated yesterday, loit all three games today. Others -who showed a reversal of form were J. Hill (Remuera). and Beehre (Whangarei). The leaders at the end of the sixth round of section play are:—Section 1: Mnston (Auckland), Warren (Carlton) and Donaldcon (Whasigarei). four wins each. Section •2: Oribbie (Pukekohe), six wins. The weather was ideal, the greena were in good order, and good contests resuited. • Opotiki Club teams played Taneatua ui the morning and were beaten by 106 points to 87.
