LAWN TENNIS.

ONEHUNGA V. HAMILTON. ANNUAL MATCH PLAYED. The annual match between the Hamilton and Onehunga Teronis Clubs was Held oil Monday at the Onehunga courts, 20 players from each club taking part. The contest was a most enjoyable one, and as the two clubs proved to be very evently matched, the result was in doubt almost to the last game. A feature was the narrow margio by which many of the games were won, the full three sets having to be played in exactly half the matches. Onehunga won by ' 22 matches to 18. Play started early in the morning and by keeping all 10 courts fully occupied the 40 matches were played in good time to emable the Hamilton players to avail themselves of the Auckland Association's invitation to attend at Stanley Street to see the championship finals.
