(Received January 30. 1.5 a.m.) A. .and N.Z. SYDNEY. Jan. 2D. At the Sydney Swimming Club's championship meeting Miss Mealing covered 100 yds. in the back-stroke event in lm. 17s. She thus lowered the Australian record for the event by three second*.
