TAURAMGA CLOU'S AFFAtSS, FINANCES AND 15 SPROVEMEN3S* [BY TEUXJRAPH. —OWU TAURANGA, Saturday* The annual meeting of the Tauranga Golf Club was held last ovening,, Mr. H. P. Butts presiding over a good attendance. Th« report stated that the club was in a very sound position, with a credit balance ol £32 at the end of the :lnaflcial year and very substantial assets. The course continued to show improvement. Two new greens were put down. The club was greatly indebted to Missi M. Cameron 'for presenting a handsome silver challenge cud for the ladies' championship and ali;o to Mr. E. T. Baker for donating a, sitaila? trophy for the men's championship. The meeting adopted sanendments to ths rules providing for the representation of the ladies on the committee and also empowering the committee to appoint a hanciicapper or bandicsippers. Officers for the ensuing: year were elected as follows:—President, Mr. R. H. Phalan; vice-president, Mr. IX A. Ivory; captain, Mr. A. Matheson; hon. secretary, Mr. hj,. 1. Goulding; hon. treasure!;,_ilr. E. J- ♦"Afford; committee, Messrs. E. 11 r lfteth Pott, G. Rodgers, J. Auld. Rev. B. C.HWberington; hon. auditor, Mr. B. P. Baifcent.
