The Plunket Shield match between Canterbury and Wellington was played on Saturday and to-day,, and will be continued to-morrow. Canterbury batted first and made 251, I„ M. Hamilton being topscorer with 77. Wellington replied with 405, H. M. McGirr scoring 122, T. C. Lowry 81 and K. C. James 53. Canterbury, in their second innings, have made 203 for seven wickets, G. R.
