BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP.
CARPENTIER RESIGNS. NEW PROFESSION PREFERRED. A. and N.Z. PARIS, Dec. 29. The well-known boxer Georges Carpentier, has resigned his title of heavyweight champion of France. He finds that to defend the title would interfere with his theatrical engagements.
