The final of the Robson Cup competition, under the auspices of the Te Awamutu Lawn Tennis Club, was played yesterday afternoon between E. Taylor and J. Coyne. The latter won two straight sets, G—2, 6—l. The cup was donated by the Rev. G T. Robson during his presidency of the club for competition under championship conditions The winner is a young player who is showing very good form this Beason. RAETIHI v Taumartjnui.
