BOXING IN NEW YORK. PHIL SCOTT DEFEATS MUNN. (Received November 29, 6.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. NEW YORK. Nov. 29. In a boxing match Phil Scott won on a technical knock-out against Monte Munn. The referee stopped the bout in the middle of the tenth round. Scott showed decided improvement, and iris opponent was on the verge of a real knock-out. Scott used a right cross wi" h deadly accuracy, and Muuns was severely bandied. CRICKET IN SOUTH AFRICA. MARYLEBONE TEAM'S VICTORY. A. and N.Z. CAPETOWN, Not. 28. In a cricket match at Bloemfoniein, the Free State, which made 192 in the first innings against the M.C.C. team, made 256 in the second innings (Commaille 54, Holmes, not out, 61). Geary took three wickets for 71 runs and Peebles three for 26. Marylebone won by an innings and 164 runs.
