THROWN FROM VIADUCT.

TWO MEN FALL FORTY FEET. RAILWAY TROLLIES COLLIDE. [BY TIXEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT;] NGARUAWAHIA, Fridny. An accident occurred on the Waipa Colliery Company's railway line yesterday afternoon. Four men engaged on the maintenance of the lino were travelling down from Glenmassey on two trollies, and the rear trolley ran into the front one. Both were thrown off the line .on a viaduct. Two men, T. Herbert and J. Hill, fell 40ft. to the ground below, and one trolley which, fell off the viaduct narrowly missed. them as they lay on the ground. Herbert had bis left leg badly fractured and his jaw fractured and is suffering from concussion. Hill dislocated an ankle. First aid was given by an ambulance squad from the mine and a doctor who was on the road at the time of the accident. Both meu were subsequently brought by train to Ngaruawahia, where their injuries received proper attention.
