NAVAL DISASTER.
DANISH VESSEL LOST. CREW OF 21 ON BOARD. (Received October 7, 8.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. COPENHAGEN, Oct. 6. It is reported that the Danish naval steamer Hermod sank in a gale in the North Sea. Lifeboats and hatch covers have been washed ashore at Jutland. It is feared that the crew of 21 were drowned.
