MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. The final of the junior championship over 36 holes, of the Maungakiekie . Club, was played on Saturday, and was won by H. W. Keesing, who beat F. W. Wilson, ? up. The first round of the handicap to be decided on match play at One Tree Hill will be played next Saturday. MAUNGAKIEKIE LADIES' CLUB. Pavitt, of the Papakura Club, and Miss J. Little, of the Everslie Club, who tied for first place in the afternoon medal round of the Franklin ladies' golf championship on August 27, took place this week. Saturday The annual meeting of St. James' Tennis Club, Pukekohe, was held this week, the president, Mr. A. Schlaepfer, in the chair. The president reported that the membership stood at 42. The club was making substantial progress. Nearly £2O had been spent last season in improving the courts and the surroundings, and the year had concluded with a credit balance of £27. The courts were to be asphalted before the new season commenced. The -election of officers resulted Patron, Rev. S. Nixon; president, Mr. A. Schlaepfer; vice-presidents, Messrß. L. Sharp. G.
