The New Zealand Basketball tournament was completed to-day. in the Harbour Board shed owing to inclement weather. Auckland, having won all its matches, wins the tournament and the cup. Wellington comes second with five wins. This morning Auckland. 83, defeated Southland, 33; Wellington, 42, deefated Canterbury. 13: Otago. 38, defeated Ashburton, 26; North Island, 59, defeated South Island, 34.
