LEG SEVERED BELOW KNEE. accident on newstead farm. [Br TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Sunday. X boy, Aubrey McDell, aged 11, whose parents reside at Pukekohe, met with a serious accident at Newstead yesterday. He was staying at Mr. G. Crosby's farm and was riding on a disc plough when he fell. The plough passed over him and a disc severed his left leg below the knee. The boy was conveyed to the Waikato Hospital, where he is making good progress.
