MANGERE SALE OF WORK.
A successful sale of work was held recently at St. James' Hall, Mangere, for the purpose of raising funds to complete the Church Hall on the property recently acquired by the Church of England authorities at Favona Road Mangere. The sum of £l5O was collected by this means and the success of the function was largely due to the support given by the residents of Onehunga, Mangere and Otahuhu. The Onehunga Brass Band was in attendance during the afternoon and evening.
