Morgan, of Cambridge, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. R. J. S. Gray, who was for some years chairman of the Hamilton branch of the St. John Ambulance Association, has removed to Auckland. Senator G. D. Mr. John Hislop, deputy-mayor of Devonport, has been appointed to nil the vacancy ori the Auckland Harbour Board caused by the death of Mr. John Henderson. Mr. Hislop was nominated as the representative of the North Shore boroughs, and the Minister of 'Marine has now approved thf appointment.
