OBITUARY.

MR. V. H. SANSON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Friday. The death occurred at the Waikato Hospital at a late hour this evening of Mr. V. H. Sanson, deputy-official assignee at Hamilton, at the age of 40 years- Mr. Sanson was a son of Mr. H. Sanson, of Hamilton, and was born at Sandon, near Feilding. He was educated at the Feiiding Primary School and Wellington College, and took up the profession of accountancy while employed by the Australian Mutual Provident Society. The deceased practised his profession at Blenheim, and 15 years ago came to Hamilton, where he entered ; nto partnership with Mr. E. H. O'Meara, secretary of the Waikato Placing Club. . About 10 years ago Mr. Sanson was appointed deputy-official assignee for the Hamilton district, and conducted a large number of bankruptcy meetings in the Waikato during the post-war period. Mr. Sanson ov.-ned a small farmlet in River Road, Claudelands, and was senior warden in Beta Waikato Masonic Lodge. A week ago Mr. Sanson entered the hospital suffering from septicaemia. He is survived by a wife and daughter. MR, C. D. SOLJ2. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] STRATFORD, Friday. The death occurred to-day of Mr. Courtney D. Sole, chairman of the Stratford Hospital Board. Mr. Sole was a member of a well-known Taranaki family, and had held office on various local bodies. He had been ill for some little time.
