MAORI HYGIENE.
NEW DIRECTOR'S VISIT. Dr. E. P. Ellison, the new Director of Maori Hygiene, and successor to Dr. P. H. Buck, who has been appointed anthropologist to the Bishop Museum at Honolulu, paid his first official visit to Auckland yesterday. He will he engaged in departmental business in Auckland before his return to Wellington next week.
