The president of the Sydney Chamber of Commerce, Mr. James Dunlop, in the course of his address at the annual meeting, said commerce and industry generally had been hampered by the Labour Government's restrictions and continual pinpricks. There was a possibility of stagnation in the manufacturing industries owing to excessive costs end labour troubles. It would be folly to say that all was well with Australia, but sha was too young and vigorous to be permanently put out of business by these troubles and would win through.
