OWNERS PAY OFF CREW.
SHIP LIES UP AT WELLINGTON.

The steamer Moeraki, which was to have left Wellington for Pott, Chalmers yesterday, was held up owing to two of the crew being absent. Before they. would join the ship they demanded that a month's wages be paid to (hem for tliQ trip. !•' ■ . ; ••
The owners have paid the crew off, and' the ship is to lie up at "Wellington instead of at Port Chalmers.
