HAMILTON DEFEAT TE AROHA [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton. Sunday A telegraphic chess match between Te Aroha 'and Hamilton was concluded last evening; After a series of keenly-con-tested games Hamilton proved victorious, with a score of 8 to 5, with two games, to be adjudicated. At the end of the previous Saturday's play Te Aroha appeared to have some advantage, but although Te Aroha is a much stronger combination than formerly, Hamilton rose to the occasion and quickly put the result beyond . doubt. Following are the details, Hamilton players being mentioned first:— Bullock beat Sale, Ruy Lopez; Fenwick v. Konrick, four knights, : to be adjudicated; W. J.
