AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT* A meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Hockey Association was held on Tuesday. Mr. Playle presided. The Management Committee of the South Auckland Football Association met last evening, Mr. F. J. Carr presiding. Mr. Frank Woodhall was elected to a vacancy on the committee. The other vacancy will be filled at the next meeting. The Pukemiro Club declined to agree to the suggestion that the points in its match with Railways. which was abandoned, should be counted when the return game is played next Saturday. The commitee deferred decision. Huntly Thistle Club advised that its new playing field would be ready in a fortnight. The application by the Pukemiro Club to have T. Binnie regraded from senior to a junior player was granted. Rotowaro complained of the action ol the Thistle Club in regard to a collection taken up. The committee decided that the matter was one for the two clubs to settle. The North Auckland Football Association applied for the transfer of G. Marshall from Huntly Thistle Club, and this was granted subject to tile approval of the latter club. The committee decided that the first round of the Chatham Cup shall be played on June 25. four teams having entered Fixtures for Saturday are:—Senior: Railways v.
