Cartwright, of London, Mr. and Mrs, W. L. Ward, of Wellington, and Mr. 'and Mrs. E. It. Large,, of Gisborne, are at the Star Hotel. Mr, W. S. Lam be, of Sydney. Mr. A. H. Armitage, of Honolulu, Mr. C, Q. Newbound, of Dunedin, and Mr. R. A. Sloan, of Wellington, are at tho Hotel Cargeo. Admiral Sir James Fergusson, brother of the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, left by train last evening for Tongariro National Park, where he will spend a short holiday. Mr. R. Planner, Mr. E. W. Bien-e, Mr. B. Jones, and Mr. 0. N. Gillespie, of Wellington, and Mr. S. G. Holland and Mr. R. J. Jones, of Christ church, are at the Star Hotel. Professor W. Riddet, professor of agriculture at Auckland University College, left by train for Hawera last evening'. While in Taranaki he will be engaged in dairy research matters. Mr. K. Thomson, of Melbourne, Mr. P. J. O'Rcgan. of Wellington, Mr. J. W. Banks, of Waikino, Mr. W. Price, of Thames, Mr. L. H. Bell, of Kaitaia, and Mr. S. B.
