ROTARY IN AUSTRALIA.
THE RECENT CONFERENCE. Impressions of the recent conference of Australian rotary clubs at Adelaide were given by Mr. S. Rcid, one of the New Zealand delegates, at the weekly luncheon of the Auckland Rotary Club yesterday. He stated he did not know r>f any conference that had been more perfectly organised. The delegates were supplied with envelopes contaning all the information they desirsd, and so well did it cover the ground that no questions had to be put to the comerence secretary. So far as attendance was concerned, said Mr. Ileid, the conference did not compare with the recent conference of New Zealand rotary clubs at Auckland. On the first day over 300 delegates registered, but the numbers gradually dwindled until at one session only 33 were.present. The hospitality extended to the delegates was a very pleasant feature of the gathering, and altogether the experience was one that would not be easily forgotten.
