UNIVERSITY BOAT RACE.
WELLINGTON AND AUCKLAND.
NEXT SATURDAY'S CONTEST. A new and interesting feature of the annual University tournament, to be held in Auckland at Easter, will be a boat race between the Auckland find Victoria (Wellington) University Colleges, which will be rowed next Saturday. The Auckland crew has been selected as followsW. Jv Lowe (stroke), L. Brooker (No.. 3), C. T. Keegan (No. 2), C. Hunt (bow). The Auckland crew has been :in training for a considerable time, under the coaching direction of Mr. C. F. Fearon, and is showing constantly improved form. It is. nicely balanced, and has ar good swing, although somewhat short in the bow seats. The Victoria College four has been coached by Mr. E. Diehl, captain of the Star Club, Wellington, and a former Auckland resident.
