DEATH OF A JOCKEY.
LEADING AMERICAN RIDER. HEART FAILS FROM WASTING. Bun, LONDON, April 5. George Archibald, a prominent American jockey who has been rding in England since 1922, has died of heart failure caused by excessive wasting. Archibald had ridden over 1000 winners in six different countries. He had topped the list ol wining jockeys in Germany, America, Austria and Spain. For one race yesterday he would have had to reduce his weight to 1101b.
