Bowling Club to determine the champion rink of Thursday and Saturday players S. McKenzie (IJiJcurangi) and Courtney (Kensington) played the final today. The game was started late and the light had failed when the tenth head was reached. The score then read in McKenzie's favour. The game concluded at this point, the decision being awarded to the Hikurangi team. CHAMPION CYCLISTS. LAMB WINS AT PUNEDIN. [by telegraph.—press association.] DUNEDIN, Saturday, The appearance of R. W. Lamb (Victoria) and F. J. Grose (New Zealand), in cycling events at the Otago Amateur Athletic Centre's sports to-day proved a great attraction. Lamb won the half-mile and tliree miles races with great sprints at the finish. Grose rode well. A field of four in the half-mile event went away very leisurely and the race was called of! at the end of one round. When the field was sent away again Groso looked a wiuper in the last lap, but a 60yds sprint by Lamb put him a wheel ahead of the New Zealander. The time was lm. 17s. Lamb won his heat in the milo race by 20yds, in '2m. 23 2-ss. Nicholson was second. Grose was second to D. Fraser in the other heat, which took 2m. 21s. Fraser (170 yds.) beat Lamb (scr.). and Grose (scr.). in the final. The time was 2m. 24 2-ss. In the three-rnile event the result was: Lamb (scr.), 1; Grose (scr.),_2; Nicholson (70yds,), 3. The champions ouickly picked up Nicholson and at. the end of a milo fell in behind, the limit men, Lamb went away at the home turn in an excellent sprint, and won by eight lengths! in >m. 41 2-ss. Grose broke a pedal in the last lap.
