DEATH OCCURS AT SEA.

PASSENGER ON THE NIAGARA* FORMER AUCKLAND RESIDENTS, The death of ft lady passenger, Mrs* E. y?heeler, of Auckland, occurred during the voyage of the Niagara, which arrived from Vancouver yesterday. Early in thei morning of January 16, when the vessel was four days oat ffom Vancouver, Mrs. "Wheeler, who formerly resided at Grafton Road, died from natural causes, and the burial took place at sea the same afternoon. Mrs. Wheeler, who was a widow, was at ono time engaged in business in Auckland. She had been on a tour of the world and was returning home. She was in a low state of health when sho joined the steamer.
