GORED BY A BULL.

FARMER SUSTAINS INJURY. FALL FROM A POWER POLE. Injuries to the chest were received by a farmer, Mr. Alfred Nettlingbam, aged 61 years, through being gored by a bull at Opaheke, near Drury, yesterday morning. Although the injuries are painful they are not considered to be serious. An employee of tho Public Works Department, Mr. Robert John Hoare, aged 38, fell from a transmission power pole at Papakura yesterday, sustaining a fracture of the right leg. Ho was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. A slight improvement is reported by tho hospital authorities in tho condition, of Miss Eunice Comeskey, who received severe injuries on Sunday evening through being struck by a motor-car in Dominion Road.
