LORRY FALLS OVER BANK.
UNLUCKY PICNIC PARTY. THREE PERSONS INJURED* [BJT TEI/EGBAPH. OWN CORB.ESPONUENT. ] WELLINGTON. Monday A motor-lorry, returning with a picnic party, broke away while descending a steep hill on Moonshine Road, Akatarawa,. yesterday afternoon and crashed down a .bank. Three of the passengers were admitted to hospital at eight o'clock last evening. Mrs Elizabeth, aged 26, who resides at Silverstream, suffered from severe injuries to the back and shock and her condition is serious, while Walter and Vivian Siely received severe abrasions and shock.
