PROBATION SYSTEM.
TH-E QUESTION OF REFORM, An informal meeting of social workers interested in the probation system was helqr at the residence of the city, missioned Rev.. Jasper. Calder, hist evening. The; /various phases of the proposed changes in the system were discussed-and considerable uneasiness regarding the working of the scheme was expressed. It was decided to hold a meeting nest Thursday representative of a!! social workers" and those directly interested in Police Court and probation work.
