MOTOR-CYCLE CAPSIZES.
THREE PERSONS INJURED. [by telegraph.—own correspondent. J NEW PLYMOUTH. Monday. The overturning of a motor-cycle and side-car on the South Eoad on Sunday afternoon resulted in three persons being injured, two of whom had to be sent to the hospital. The cyclist was Arthur Fitzpatrick, and he had with him in the side-car Mrs. Hoffmann, of Hine Street, with whom he boarded. Mrs. Faulkner, who is employed by Mrs. Hoffman, was on the back of the cycle. It appears that as they were rounding a bend the lady on the back of the machine seized the arm of the cyclist and this caused the machine to get into some soft earth at the side of the road. It then overturned. Fitzpatrick had two ribs broken and the side of his head badly bruised, but his injuries are not regarded as seriouK. Mrs. Hoffmann had one leg broken in two places and her back was badly strained. She is also suffering from slock. These two were taken to the hospital where they are reported to be progressing satisfactorily. Mrs. Faulkner received braises about the body,
