WOMAN SEVERELY BURNED.
UPSET BOTTLE OF BENZINE.
HOUSE PRACTICALLY RUINED,
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIA'XIOK.] NAPIER, Monday.
Through upsetting a bottle of benzine, Mrs. Pearce, who was employed washing clothes, was badly burned to-day. TL» benzine was being used in the washing water when the bottle was knocked over and the woman's clothes ignited. Sh® was sent to hospital.
The house, owned and occupied by Mr. R. V. C. Harris, dentist, was practically destroyed.
