ALLEGED BRIBERY.
INQUIRY IN SYDNEY. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Oct. 27. The Select Committee which is inquiring into the bribery charges decided to recall the Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang, and ask him to give the name of the high Government official whom he stated had given him information regarding the bribery charges. • When Mr. Lang appeared before the committee again he refused to give the name of his informer. One witness stated that he had told a member of the staff of the newspaper l.uhnur Daily that he had overheard two r•» .l the Enfield railway works say £<40,000 was available to put the Labour Party out of office.
