EMPLOYERS' SUGGESTION. PROBLEM IN AUSTRALIA. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. Oct. 27. The annual conference of the central council of tho Employers' Association of Australia passed a resolution to the effectthat tho material welfare of the people engaged in all spheres of industry in Australia can only ■ be improved by an increase in production. This could best be achieved by a system of payment by results, with a recognition of a mutual obligation by all parties to promote and attain efficiency.
