CRASH OVER A BANK.
A DROP OF THIRTY FEET. MOTOR-CYCLE AND SIDE-CAR. RIDER'S FORTUNATE ESCAPE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TAIHAPE, Wednesday. A motor-cycle and side-car containing three men went over a bank two miles south of Utiku at dusk on Monday evening. The cycle fell a distance of 30ft., the riders having a marvellous escape from serious injury. When the machine came to rest it was seen that one man was pinned beneath it. Another was thrown about 10ft. away, and lay unconscious. The third man was badly shaken, but all three were able to proceed home later little the worse for their adventure.
