HAMILTON CLUB. TRAINING TRACK WANTED. [BY TELEGRAPH* —OWN CORRESPONDENT ] HAMILTON. Thursday. The thirty-third annual meeting of the Hamilton Athletic and Cycle Club was held last evening. Mr. R. English presiding. The annual report emphasised the necessity for tho acquisition of a training track, the lack of which was a great handicap to competitors. The report went on to state that the American athletes, Scholz and lAabn, made their first appearance in New Zealand at the Hamilton carnival on January 15, when a profit of £24 was made on the meeting. This sum was forwarded to the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. Points gained during the season for trophies were: —J. B. Scott Cup (flat events).—C. McGough. 15; O. Morgan. 10; A. Donovan. 0; A. Wilson. 8; M. Picard. 8; F. Tatley, 8: E. Darlington. 5; A. Prisk. 4; J. McMiken. 3: L. Shirtcliffe. 2; G. Prosser, 2; C. Thompson. 1. Howden Cup (field events).--0. Morgan. _S; C. McGough. i 4; Findlay. 3; A. Prisk, 2: E. Grocot.t. 3; C. Thompson and A. DonoThe whereabouts of the J. B. Scott Cup is at present unknown and it wns intimated that information concerning .it would be welcomed. Officers were elected as follow: —Patron, Mr. C. R. B. Speight,; vice-patrons, Messrs. C. Morris. J. McKinnon, W. Lee Martin and F. Jones; president, Mr. R. English; twelve vice-presidents; hon. secretary. Mr. L. W. W. Brown; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. Donovan; general committee. Messrs. F. Buckingham, L. Jones, H. Stewart. G. Woods an'd R. Day. with 'power, to add; auditor. Mr. V. St. George; running handicapper, Mr. L. W. W. Brown.
