BURGLARS IN THE CITY.
FACTORY BROKEN INTO. A HOUSE ALSO RANSACKED* Burglars broke into the Regent Clothing Company's, factory in Alexandra Street, opposite the Town Hall, on Friday night, or early on Saturday morning, and stole £23 from the cash box, which was left in the office. To gain entrance the intruders climbed a fire escape and entered a window. The residence of Mr. A. H. Hyde in Landscape Road, Epsom, was broken into during the week while the occupants were away. The rooms were thoroughly ransacked, and £l2 was taken in notes.
