GROWTH IN NEW ZEALAND. ;'f - Nowadays women's clubs bavo become firmly established institutions all over the world. This popularity is increasing year after year, and in New Zealand there has been just recently a rapid growth in the number of clubs established both in our larger towns and the small country ones. - - •■■ ■ ( In Auckland there is a Lyceum Club with a membership of 700. , In Wellington there are three clubs—Pioneer Club, 700 members; Wellington Women's Club, 300 town and 50 country members; Lyceum, 150 members. In Christchurch , there are two clubs—the Canterbury Women's Club, 380 members; Queen's Club, 211 members; Dunedin, Otago Women's Club, 800 members; Napier. Hawke's Bay Women's Club, 170 members; New Plymouth Women's Club, 200 members; Wanganui, Lady Jellicoe Club, 200 members; Gisborne, Women's Club. 162 members; Hamilton, Waikato Women's Lyceum Clnb, 320. members; Hastings, Women's Community Club, 170 members; Whangarei, Women's Club, 117 members; Blenheim, Marlborough Women's Club, 80 members; Timaru, Women's Club, 130 members; Oamarti. North Otago Women's Club, 234 members; Invercargill, Southland Women's Club, 237 memhers; Waimate, Women's Club, 83 members.
