DECREASE IN REVENUE.
LOSS SHOWN ON BUSES.

The Wellington Tramways Committee reported to the City Council to-night tha u the council motor-bus services for the period April to September 15 showed a loss of £3882, the number of passengers carried being 757,406 for the same period. The tramway revenue decreased, compared with the corresponding period last year, from £193,184 to £187,792. The number of passengers carried for the period this year totalled 19,339,535, compared with 19,449,982 for the corresponding period last year.
