Diomede, left by train last evening to spend a short holdiay in Duncdin. Mr. J. Dawson-Ward, of London, Mr. J. Wallace, of Wellington, and Mr. A. M. Bisley, of Hamilton, are at, the Royal Hot-el. Mr- and Mrs. R. H. Anderson, of Kopu, and Mr. and Mrs. D. A. McKenzie, of Talmerston South, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. C. E. H. Zohrab. of Christ church, Mr. F. H. Morton, Mr. P. Hereford, Mr. R. O. Butcher and Mr. W. Bnme, of Wellington, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. J.' Storey, of Sydney, Mr. F. Danyers, of Te Puke, Mr. F. J. Nathan, of Palmerston North, and Mr. C. Blayney, of Wellington are at the Grand Hotel. The Rev. J. Brock, of the China Inland Mission, who has had a year's furlough from his station at Chow-kia-kow, will leave by the Marama to-day en route to China. Mr. J. H. C. Bond, Dominion superintendent of the New Zealand Shipping Company, who has been on a short visit to Auckland, returned to Wellington by train last evening. I* _
