THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 12.30 a.m.) ADELAIDE. Aug. 27. Ivo Whitton to-day won the open golf championship of Australia. He led the field by three strokes with a score of 297. Rufus Stewart was runner-up.
