GROUSE FROM SCOTLAND.
A. and N.Z. LONDON. Aug. 26. Fourteen Scotch grouse were shipped by the Ruapehu for Wellington to-day. The object is to introduce the birds in the Dominion. The experiment was tried a few months ago, but on that occasion the grouse did not survive the voyage.
