CHORAL SOCIETY.
FORMATION AT OTAHUHU. A decision to form a choral society was made at a well-attended meeting at the Orpheus Hall, Oiahuhu, last evening. Mr. A. Murdoch presided and the following officers wero elected: —President, Mr. • A. Murdoch ; secretary, Mr, J. Dinnison; treasurer, Mr. B. A. White; conductor, Mr. 11, Mayo; accompanist, Mr. C.' Tcppit. The question of the subscription rato was deferred. It was decided to enter for tho Auckland Competitions. The election of a patron and vice-presidents was deferred until next Friday evening, when the first practice will bo' held.
