VALENTINO'S DEATH.
RUSH TO VIEW THE BODY. DEAD ACTOR'S AFFAIRS. (Receiver! 9.5 p.m.) Reuter—Sun. NEW YORK. Aug. 24. Numbers of persons, including three women and three policemen, were injured to-day in a panic which occurred among the thousands of people who were standing in the rain outside the chapel on Broadway where the casket containing the remains of Rudolph Valentino had been placed. The crowd hoped to view the body. Miss Pola Negri, the well-known film actress, received a cablegram from Valentino's brother, Alberto Guglielmi, stating that ho would sail from France to-morrow for New York to complete the arrangements for the funeral. Miss Negri will come to the capital on Saturday to meet him. ' ' , ' •' ' Valentino -earned £200,000 last year, but he did not leave a penny in cash. When ho died he owed Mr. Joseph Schenk £40,000 on a note, the security against which is Valentino's only life insurance policy for that amount.. The profits from royalties on films which are now running will accumulate a comfortable fortune for Vulentino's heirs, who are his parents and his brothers in Italy. '
